Loading Containers For Shipping To Customers

As we know, it is very important to load goods for shipping to customers. So how should we do and what must pay attention to . Successful container loading is an important process in foreign trade business. To fully understand the loading process and avoid unnecessary troubles in the loading process means that an order can be fully implemented.

There are three main steps for loading containers:

1.Before loading

A. Drafting a cabinet loading plan: The volume of the container, the cargo (type, quantity) that needs to be loaded in each container, understand the nature of the cargo (volume---if there is no ready-made one, you need to measure it yourself, weight---measurement, pressure resistance, whether it is fragile, etc.)

Note: When calculating the loading plan, consider the balance of the container (the weight should be average). It is best to place goods that are easy to pass through customs at the end of the container to reduce unnecessary troubles.

B. Preparation of cargo: Go to the warehouse or factory to see which goods are ready and which goods are in preparation, and urge the goods that are not ready to be prepared, must finish the all goods before loading goods.

C. Measure or record the goods details to make documents: Measure or record goods details, such as, quantity, carton size,weights and volume and so on, making packaging list, commercial invoices and other documents for customs declaration.

D. Loading plan: How to ship the goods?Whether need to partial shipments? How many containers?Which shipping way is the customers ask? What is the payment term? 2. Loading goods

A. When the containers arrive at the factory, we should check whether the empty containers are damaged and take the photos to record, so as to avoid the damage of the containers and cause the products to appear wet and wet during the shipment process.

B. Recording work-careful and cautious

①Before loading, be familiar with the variety, quantity, and loading plan of each container

② Before loading, check the placement, quantity, and quantity of the goods.  Contact the warehouse for goods that are lacking in quantity and prepare them in time.

③ Arrange the recorder: one person on the truck, instructs the loading (placement of the goods, put it gently, not to step on, etc.), tells the forklift what the next cargo is;  one person on the ground, instructs the forklift to load the goods, etc.

④ Both recorders should check the goods: variety, quantity, pairwise verification before loading

⑤ Clear handwriting, clear data recorded---easy to operate in statistics (variety, quantity)

⑥ From loading to completion, it is best to follow up a container, do not change at will, let alone pause the recording work at any time---start and end!

⑦ Take pictures: It’s best to take pictures continuously when the cabinet is finished (so that the photos can be retrieved at that time), and it must be clear ---- license plate, container number, finished cabinet

⑧ The number of varieties to be loaded in the cabinet should be calculated clearly, to see if the varieties are complete and the number is sufficient, etc. ...

3. After loading

A. Sort the photos and send them to the customers, check whether the actual loading quantity, weight and CBM are consistent with the packing list made before, and the final actual data shall prevail.
